http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/site/border.html#q5Q I live in Dumfries and Galloway and already get Freeview but that only gives me English services. Will I get Scottish services on digital after switchover?
A The Scottish services will be transmitted on digital in this area at digital switchover. If you currently receive them in analogue you should be able to receive them in digital after switchover
There'd be uproar if the powers-that-be allowed a major site like Sandale or Caldbeck not to broadcast the full range of PSB channels (and effectively required householders to have 2 TV aerials) - so no chance of BBC3/4 being ditched - every chance that the PayTV services might not appear everywhere - last thing I read suggested that 75% of the population would get "full service" DTT (Freeview+TUTV) and the 24.something% remaining that get TV pictures now would get PSB only (Freeview, no TUTV) and those that don't get UHF today still won't get it.
