As usaul, the Borders is miles behind the rest of the country with digital tv and radio coverage.

At the current time, the only transmitter carrying DTT signals is Selkirk Hill, although some areas may get fringe reception from Black Hill (Edinburgh), Caldbeck (Carlisle) and Chatton (Newcastle).

Selkirk Hill has to be one of the most useless transmitters anywhere - it barely covers Selkirk, and most of the big towns in the area have to have relays as most of the houses are down in the river valleys and out of reach of Selkirk Hill !

However, if you are in reach of this transmitter, then the multiplexes are carried thus:

Mux 1   53   3kw
Mux 2   57   3kw
Mux A   60   3kw
Mux B   63   3kw
Mux C   66   0.5kw
mux D   56   0.5kw

I think you're a bit optimistic on the "Fenham" - you can't even get that in Cramlington (6 miles north of Newcastle) - Chatton however is loud and clear over here in Coldstream and district (and pumping out analogue until 2011 allegedly)

Well they'll still kick up a fuss about it being "Chatton (Newcastle)" lol - it's only as "Newcastle" as Hawick is "Edinburgh"
